Meet our President

I Patrice Brown Founded this Organization as a result of my oldest son’s untimely and much unexpected demise . To this day I have so many unanswered and unexplained questions surrounding this tragic event. As I fell deeper into depression and consumed with grief the only thing that was clear to me was that I needed immediate help coping with this new way of life.

Seeking help proved to be one dead end after another which of course did nothing to remedy these feelings and emotions but compiled to anger and annoyance. When I finally was able to obtain some type of assistance in what I was dealing with, something was still missing.

I vowed to myself right then to not let others go through what I have just endured trying to find help. When one is searching for help with many issues we face, in my case it was grief . In so many other cases in may be a wide array of many of the social issues we face within our communities. Finding help should not be a fishing expedition but rather immediate help, answers and resources.

The goal of our foundation is to uplift the community and ease its struggle. I am sure this can and will be attained through community events that will not only enlighten but also encourage and empower.
