DAB Foundation

To date we have packaged and distributed nearly 75 personal blessing bags! containing body wash, deodorant, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. also hand sanitizer and tissue. (feminine products were also included for ladies) In the colder months gloves, hats, scarfs and socks were provided to many.We  quickly realized and now are trying to include baby wipes and diapers and other essentials.   We also provided bag lunch on some days including granola bars water and a small monetary donation of $5-$10 or gift cards to local restuarants/supermarkets .Most importantly our volunteers provided reliable resources of where to go on which days for hot showers.we were also certain to include information on food pantries for everyone currently facing food insecurity. Others we provided resouceful information regarding upcoming job fairs resume writting workshops,drug  addition conseling, housing forums, mental health services and free health screenings. Honestly we have been unable to do this reguarly due to we provide this out of our own pockets and hope to soon obtain funding and donations shortly to maintain more frequent assistance. We do this because we care deeply and want to be part of the solution.
